Founders Loft is one of Vinnova's designated excellence incubators, with 25 years of experience empowering innovative startups to achieve sustainable growth, secure funding, and navigate international expansion.
The incubator offers development programs for entrepreneurs striving to build successful and visionary companies. Participants gain access to an extensive network and expert knowledge, enabling a faster path to market and reduced risks during early and critical stages.
Over the years, nearly 200 companies have gone through the program, several of which have grown into major successes, creating many jobs in the region. With strong expertise in diversity and gender equality, Founders Loft has supported many companies with female founders and gender-balanced teams to find their place and achieve success.
By joining Founders Loft, companies gain access to a comprehensive ecosystem of stakeholders and networks at local, national, and international levels. After completing the programs, they become part of a growing alumni network.
Founders Loft is a non-profit organization and does not take any equity.

Our Story
Founders Loft was created in 2019, but our history stretches back as far as 1999 when the association Framtidens Företag was established on the initiative of the School of Business at the University of Gothenburg.
In 2000, we became an independent incubator to support entrepreneurs and companies in their development, which is still at the core of what we do every day. We now have over 25 years of experience in business development and nearly 190 companies have started their journey in collaboration with us.
We know that building a company is not done based on a framework - all people are different and all business ideas have different needs, so we sit down together to come up with what suits you and your company best. We believe that sustainable entrepreneurs create sustainable companies.
